50 years ago, Title IX was put into law to ensure women would receive equal opportunities. But Biden’s Department of Education (DoE) has proposed to rewrite Title IX and threaten to undo much of the progress that has been made.
This rule change would force men who identify as transgender into women’s sports by creating an undue burden for every women’s sport and every school to demonstrate the risk of a “sports related injury” to females in order to prevent the participation of males.
This would create a mountain of bureaucratic paperwork for each and every school just to maintain the integrity of women’s athletics.
Fortunately, there is a way to fight back. Today is the last day the public will be able to submit a written objection to the Biden administration's rewriting of Title IX.
