In just a minute, we are going to ask you to contribute $3 — or whatever you can afford — to our movement, but first, we are going to share a few facts with you:

If everyone reading this email chipped in $3 today, we could:

1. Continue to support changemaking Senators like Tammy Baldwin and Jon Tester in vulnerable races across the country.
2. Help maintain the Democratic Senate majority, take back the House, and help President Biden get reelected.
3. Fight to unseat extremist Republicans like Ted Cruz who pose a threat to our fundamental democratic freedoms and elect lawmakers that will fight for American families.
4. Have the financial resources to continue building our pro-democracy movement.
5. Breeze past our mid-quarter fundraising goal and stay on track to reporting strong data on our first FEC fundraising deadline next month.

That's the power of your $3.

But the problem is…not everyone donates. And we get it, it’s not easy to donate in times like these. But that's why it’s especially important that YOU chip in if you can afford it. Because this movement is powered by folks like you, one $3 at a time.

We know it sounds like a lot of weight to carry, but the only way we can succeed in creating change is if we work together.

That’s why we have to ask:

Can you please make a $3 contribution to the Long Run ahead of our mid-quarter deadline tonight? When you contribute today, we will put your $3 straight to work and continue supporting changemaking candidates who need our support.

This deadline is a big one. As we approach our FEC deadline next month, it's critical that we keep on course with our fundraising goals and show the strength of our movement.

Thank you for being a part of this team.
