► What: Gather in front of ABC News in Washington DC
► When: Saturday, Feb. 8, 12 Noon
► Where: 1717 Desales St. NW, three blocks south of Dupont Circle, just off Connecticut Ave.
The big media companies hosting the Democratic debates are putting their favoritism on display when moderators question the candidates.
Media outlets are ignoring, minimizing, and distorting issues that voters care about: climate change, poverty, a safe debt-free future for young people, economic security for working people, the need for universal health care, mass incarceration, the bloated military budget, the threat of more war.
We saw this happen at ABC’s Sept. 12 debate and CNN’s Jan. 14 debate. We expect to see it again at the debate on Friday, Feb. 7, hosted by ABC.
It’s time to speak out! Let ABC and other corporate media know that voters deserve better.
