I just wanted to make sure you saw our invite to our super fun, kid-friendly, high impact, in-person event we are holding on Capitol Hill on Wednesday, May 17th at 11am!
We're going to have giant teddy bears, lawn toys, bubbles, hula hoops, story time for the kids, and so much more! Plus we'll be meeting with members of Congress to share what moms, parents, and caregivers really need this Mother's Day for our families to thrive. You're not going to want to miss it!

It’s been such a long time since we’ve all gotten together for some fun, sunshine, and sending an important message to our elected leaders. That’s why we are so excited to invite you to our “Honor Moms Every Day” Mother’s Day Picnic on Capitol Hill on Wednesday, May 17th!
We know that being a mom isn’t always a picnic—and we also know that Congress can help make it easier if they pass the right policies! So, on the Sunday of Mother’s Day, we hope you will spend being celebrated by your family and/or celebrating your mom or a mom in your life. Then…… on Wednesday, May 17th, we invite you to join us on Capitol Hill (along with your friends and kids!) to send a strong message to members of Congress that they need to honor moms every day by prioritizing real pro-family policies for parents, including: affordable child care, paid family and medical leave, nutrition policies, maternal and reproductive healthcare, and policies and programs that keep us all safe and healthy.
Surrounded by teddy bears, picnic baskets, rideable unicorns, bubbles, and lots of fun activities for kids of all ages, we’ll meet with members of Congress and tell them about our priorities and about what moms, dads, caregivers, and families really need.
Why does YOU coming to a picnic with us help? Well, sometimes Congress needs to see us, really see us…. like on the lawn of their workplace (the U.S. Capitol!) in order to get the policies we need moving forward towards passage. So the more of us there are picnicking on the lawn, the faster the changes we seek will happen. In short, you being there helps build BIG momentum for change. Hope to see you!

Where: Capitol Hill lawn (we’ll send you the exact location closer to the date
Can you join us? (We hope so!!!) This will be a fun-filled, kid-friendly event so feel free to bring your children and all your friends. After you RSVP forward this invite to your friends and family so they can come along as well. You can also post our RSVP page to social media or local moms/parents groups. The more the merrier!
