As a mother of two, I empathize with the challenges that come with raising a family in an economy that too often falls short. I understand what it's like to put everything on the line, even when faced with difficult decisions and trying times.
I know so many of you can relate to this, and that's why I'm fighting to make things better.
I’ve watched the American Dream unfold before me. My mother taught me a lot about sacrifice by coming to America in search of a better life. She taught me that can’t is not an option. She taught me to take action instead of complaining. Most importantly, every day my mom and my dad reminded my siblings and me that even on our worst days, we are blessed to live in America.
But I also know that, under Joe Biden’s leadership, America is failing to provide this next generation the same opportunities that we had.
When my daughter recently got married, I saw how challenging it can be for young couples to buy a home in today's economy. I know the frustration of watching my son write papers that he doesn’t believe in just to get good grades in college.
I’m running for president because America can do better. Our children's futures are worth fighting for.
In Biden’s economy, small businesses are struggling to pay rent and families are struggling to afford groceries. I know not everyone can afford to chip in right now. As governor, I slashed our unemployment rate. I prioritized job creation and successfully brought back employment opportunities to our communities, leading to a thriving economic recovery.
When I was at the United Nations, I wasn't afraid to speak up for America and let our allies know we had their backs. I stood up for Israel, even when others didn't want to. And for those who did not have our backs, I told them we were taking names!
