John, Cyclone Mocha made landfall in Myanmar and Bangladesh this morning bringing severe wind, heavy rain and dangerous storm surges to communities up and down the coast. Millions of children and families are in danger.

This is a rapidly developing situation, but it is already clear that the road to recovery will be long, and children urgently need your support.

In the wake of this disaster, we set a rapid-response goal to raise $500,000 for the Children’s Emergency Fund to strengthen our ability to respond when emergencies strike: Please, will you rush an emergency donation and help support children and families impacted by life-threatening crises like this cyclone?

In emergencies like war or natural disaster, children are always among the most impacted. The region affected by this cyclone is home to millions of people who were already displaced or living in poverty, making this an especially dire situation.
