Working Families Party

John,

We’re now on the second week of the writers’ strike, and TV shows across networks and streaming services have halted as workers take a stand against months of unpaid work, meager wages, and replacement by AI. Here are just a few of the shows on hold while the studios refuse to negotiate:

  • Stranger Things (Netflix)
  • Abbott Elementary (Disney)
  • Severance (Apple TV)
  • Loot (Apple TV)
  • Hacks (Warner Bros/Discovery)
  • Yellowjackets (Paramount)
  • Cobra Kai (Netflix)
  • Handmaid’s Tale (Disney)

The sooner executives making millions off the work of writers come back to the table and treat them fairly, the sooner we’ll get our favorite shows back. But in the meantime, we’re willing to wait.

If you’re in this fight with us, click here to let us know which of your favorite shows you’re willing to wait for in order to secure fair treatment for writers.

I stand in solidarity

In solidarity,

Team WFP
