Hi John – I’m Miranda, Jacky Rosen’s daughter. 

This Mother’s Day weekend, I want to tell you a little bit about my mom. From an early age, she taught me the importance of hard work and perseverance – values she learned from my grandparents and passed down to me. 

Whether working as a cocktail waitress at Caesars Palace to help pay for college, working her way up as a computer programmer in a male-dominated field, or being a caretaker for my grandparents as they got older, she has always tackled life’s challenges with determination and grit.

She fights day and night to build a brighter future for our family – and for families across this country. That’s what makes her a great senator, and an even better mom. 

So today, I’m taking extra time to thank her for all she has done to raise and support me. And whether you are celebrating the moms in your life or are being celebrated yourself, I want to wish you a happy Mother’s Day too.
