A completely normal, very good week!

What a week.

As of now, it sounds like we'll be waiting a little longer for the final call on results from the Iowa Caucus. Though they’re still getting their shit together, there are a few things everyone can do right now to make sure we don’t run into difficulties of our own during this election.

So here’s Step 1: Make sure you’re registered, then post this or share this so whoever needs to see it knows their deadline is coming up.

Let’s break this down month by month:

FEBRUARY: Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Puerto Rico, Utah, Virginia

MARCH: Alaska, Louisiana, Hawaii, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington, Wisconsin, Wyoming

APRIL: Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Nebraska, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, West Virginia

MAY: DC, Montana, New Jersey, New Mexico, South Dakota

*Some of these states will let you register the same day as your primary, but you may have to go to a different location to do it, so make it easy on yourself and do it now! And you can always go to votesaveamerica.com to find out exactly what you need to know to be a voter in your state.

It may feel like something small, but people (including your friends, families, avid social media followers, etc.) are literally googling this information right now and you could make it so much easier for them.

As we’ve said before, this primary has been and will continue to be at times inspiring, at times contentious, and (perhaps always) will feel like it is lasting roughly 1,000 years. But we have a huge opportunity this year to change not only who runs our democracy, but how our democracy runs. To be clear: That’s a huge fucking opportunity! Carpe seize stuff!

So from here on out, every email you get from us is going to offer specific actions and steps that will get us all closer to that goal. Now that people are voting, we’re going to retire our “What a Debate” email recaps, but if you still want debate analysis, you can tune in to our live Crooked Group Thread, starting tomorrow (Friday, February 7) at 5pm PT/8pm ET.
