Yesterday, while Senate Republicans were proving that they’re too weak to stand up for what’s right, Alabama Senator Doug Jones did the right thing and voted to convict the president of impeachment.

From the start, Senate Republicans were ramming through a sham of an impeachment trial. They blocked witnesses. They blocked evidence. They denied the American people the truth.

Despite being from a state Trump won by nearly 30 points, Doug stood up for what’s right -- even though it could cost him his job. That’s courage.

Special interests have already dumped half a million dollars into attacking Doug (and that was just last week!). Now that he voted to convict the president, the far-right will do anything it takes to tear him down.

Doug had the moral courage to do the right thing and now he needs our help. Will you donate $10 or more between our campaigns to ensure Doug has the resources to fight back against the attacks and win re-election in November?

The only way we can stop Trump and the GOP’s dangerous agenda is by making sure people like Doug are re-elected and that Democrats take back the majority this November.
