A healthy democracy depends on protecting the right to vote. That's why it's terrifying to see politicians hell-bent on making it harder for eligible Americans to vote, just so they can win elections. We have a solution to stop them.

Since Let America Vote was founded in early 2017, we've knocked on over 500,000 doors, reached out to voters over 1,000,000 times and helped elect more than 100 voting-rights champions. Our boots-on-the-ground team is having conversations with Americans across the country to protect voting rights. That's important work at a time like this.

Millions of voters were purged from the rolls in Georgia ahead of the 2018 election -- by the same politician running to be the state's next governor. Republicans in Florida tried to block early-voting locations on college campuses. In Dodge City, Kansas the Republican clerk moved the city's only polling place just a few weeks before the election.

Last year, we saw voter suppression on full display in states where Republicans hold power. Free, fair and accessible elections are bedrocks of a healthy democracy. We cannot stand by as politicians block eligible Americans from voting.
