It’s been quite a week. Rush Limbaugh received the highest honor in the nation, Trump was acquitted, and Iowa was a mess.
But — I did find a bright light in the darkness. I attended a wonderful event hosted by Ignite, an organization dedicated to the next generation of women who will one day lead this country.

I got to meet Valerie Jarrett, former Senior Advisor to President Obama, who gave the most inspiring speech about her journey to the White House.
She offered some advice that has stuck with me. If you can’t run yourself, then find a woman who you can help get elected. That's why your support of my campaign means everything to me. You are helping get a woman elected.
