John, I need Democrats like you to fight for the future of my state.

I know it's easy to write New York off as a solid blue state, but it's just not that simple. Last year my state was one of the ONLY states in the country to experience a red wave. It was so powerful that it helped Republicans flip FOUR House seats, handing the House majority to Kevin McCarthy.

And the stakes will only be higher in 2024. The GOP's megadonors know that defending their victories in New York is crucial to maintaining control of the House. And at the same time, they have their sights set on my seat to take back the Senate too.

Make no mistake here: The path to retaking the House and defending our Senate majority runs right through New York. This state is on the front lines of the fight for the future of our country — and it's a fight that we cannot lose.

As the only statewide Democrat at the top of the ticket this year, you have my word that I will do whatever it takes to win this fight. That's why I've set a huge $50,000 mid-month goal — my biggest so far this year. And since I refuse to accept corporate PAC money, I'm counting on strong support from folks like you to hit it.
