Austin, TX – May 13, 2023: Yesterday, the Texas House passed SB 14, a bill that protects children from harmful and dangerous gender transition surgeries, procedures, and puberty blockers by a bipartisan vote of 92-48.

"Finally, Texas kids will be protected from harmful gender mutilations and doctors will have to follow the cardinal rule of modern medicine: 'Do No Harm.' This bipartisan effort shows that the vast majority of Texans know and understand that kids need real help, not false hope."
