We founded Their Future PAC because our leaders are ignoring the 73 million children in America. In Congress, Republicans just passed a budget bill that would cut funding for critical programs that children and families across the country rely on.
The GOP’s extreme budget plan cuts funding for schools and child care (including Head Start early childhood education), food assistance programs for low-income children and families, and programs that support students with disabilities. The budget also makes it easier for polluters to poison our environment and jeopardizes access to affordable health care for children and Americans of all ages.
That’s why I’m writing to you today. We need to speak with one voice and tell our representatives in Congress that they need to get serious, stop these partisan and dangerous bills, and start centering children and families in their policy decisions. Our goal is to build a better future for our children by centering them in public policy decisions and holding leaders and lawmakers accountable for their actions. From school boards and state houses to the House and Senate, Their Future PAC is working hard to advocate for children across America.
