The AAPI community has a long history in the United States, with individuals hailing from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and traditions. From pioneering achievements in science, art, literature, and business to fighting for civil rights and social justice, AAPI individuals have made invaluable contributions that deserve recognition and appreciation.

However, we must also acknowledge the challenges that the AAPI community has faced throughout history and continues to face today. Over the past year, we have witnessed a distressing rise in acts of discrimination, harassment, and violence against AAPI individuals.
