As you may already know, during my time in Congress, I worked hard to eliminate the partisanship that has been suffocating our democracy. Unfortunately, it seems that the situation has only worsened since I left. However, I am not finished with my efforts to make a positive difference. That is why I joined No Labels as a national director.
While in Congress, I was part of the Problem Solvers Caucus, a group of Democrats and Republicans who met regularly to find bipartisan solutions to the issues facing our country. No Labels has had incredible success in giving a voice to the sensible majority that exists in our country.
Like many of you, I am extremely disappointed that we seem to be heading towards a rematch of Trump vs. Biden in 2024, and I am desperate for new leadership. That's why I am working with No Labels to secure ballot access for a Unity Ticket - a Democrat and a Republican on the same ticket for President and Vice President - to provide Americans with a better choice. Many Democrats, like myself, respect President Biden's public service, but we acknowledge that his career is coming to an end. I believe that the Unity Ticket offers our best chance of keeping a Democrat in the White House.
