When I was elected, I made a promise to protect every person's right to affordable health care, fight for working families, and combat our climate crisis. But as a congresswoman, it is also my duty to uphold the Constitution, protect our national security interests, and make sure no one is above the law.
When subpoenas are ignored and information is hidden from view, that sure sounds like somebody behaving as though he is above the law.
That's why, earlier this week, I formally called for an impeachment inquiry. We Americans all deserve to know what transpired in 2016 and what role our president played in it.
