Today, Governor Cooper vetoed the Republican 12-week abortion ban. We're thankful to have a pro-choice governor who supports abortion rights, but we know the Republicans will try to overturn his veto in the coming days.
Because of Tricia Cotham's party switch, Republicans now have the numbers to overturn a veto. But they cannot afford to lose a single vote.
We encourage you to contact these legislators today and tell them to vote to uphold the veto:
