Yesterday's impeachment vote will go down in history as a turning-point for America's democracy.

History will not look back kindly on those of my colleagues in the Senate who voted for a political outcome instead of a just one. But here's what I know: history will also look back at Doug Jones for his courageous vote to hold Donald Trump accountable.

Doug has shown time and time again that his top priority is fighting for American families and upholding the Constitution, that has often meant putting aside personal consequences in order to do the right thing.

He has demonstrated that again with his vote to hold Donald Trump accountable for abusing the office of the presidency, and that's exactly why we need to help him get reelected to the Senate this November.
