The CDC reports a 40% spike in moms dying before their first Mother’s Day, with Black, Indigenous, and Latina moms in the greatest danger. [1][2][3] Our already-high maternal mortality rate is getting worse, as are the disparities. This is an emergency.

Mother’s Day isn’t dying—mothers are.

Moms don’t ignore moms in danger. We are MomsRising, and we have a plan to save moms.

By amplifying moms' voices, we’ll demand maternal justice everywhere—from the doctor’s office, to the workplace, to the halls of government.

When our solutions focus on the most impacted moms and tackle the problem from every angle, all moms rise. Tell Congress to pass the Black Maternal Health Momnibus Act and support moms’ right to equitable care before, during, and after delivery.

America’s moms are stepping up to save moms and calling on lawmakers to make addressing our maternal health crisis your highest priority.

The Momnibus Act will:

• provide more funds to strengthen federal maternal health programs,
• address social determinants of health, 
• support diversification of the perinatal health workforce, 
• provide grants to improve maternal mental health, 
• support anti-bias trainings for health care professionals, and more.
