Dear John,

I’ve been saying since day one of my campaign that I am running to bring representation to every single member of my district. When I heard Mount Sinai wanted to cut costs by downsizing services available at Beth Israel HospitaI I knew I had to speak out.

After meeting with myself and other concerned New Yorkers, the sub-committee ruled Mount Sinai will be required to put together a plan for a birthing center AND a plan to help people having to seek care all the way uptown as a result of this change. People over profits is always what my campaign will be about. ([link removed])
This past month I have spoken at 5 forums and counting to share my vision for NY-12 with groups and committees all across the district. I enjoy answering questions about my plan because representatives should be held accountable. I’m honored to be endorsed by Brand New Congress ([link removed]) , Forward Thinking Democracy ([link removed]) , YoungPAC ([link removed]) , Blue America ([link removed]) , Public Arts Commission ([link removed]) , Digital Left ([link removed]) , and Women for Justice ([link removed]) . We can’t say more now, but I’m excited to
share more big endorsement news later this month that will show everyone the level of support we’re already getting in the district.

I could not have come this far without you. But this race is about more than just my district. This campaign has been demonstrating since day one we are part of a movement that is bringing the power back to the people in this country. And I do mean the whole country; I’m proud to report we have now received donations from all fifty states, plus Puerto Rico!
