Kathy Ponce, President of True Texas Project satelite location in Waxahachie TX, will speak upon the current 88th State Legislative session, important bills passed, and bills yet to be passed.

True Texas Project mission statement is to educate and motivate citizen engagement in all levels of government. They believe in Constitutional government, national sovereignty, fiscal responsibility, personal responsibility, and rule of law. True Texas Project originaled in Fort Worth.

Unofficial Results from Saturday May 6 City and School Board Election:

Kimberlee Walter 471 votes = 21 %

Barbara Kelly 285 votes = 12 %

Mike Fletcher 1486 votes = 67 %


Voter Turnout = 2242 / 13,678 = 16.39 %


"I am so humbled and honored to be elected as your new Mayor, and greatly appreciate your confidence in me as I join the current team of City Council Members, City Leaders, and City Employees. The support I received throughout the campaign was overwhelming, and I would like to extend a heart-felt THANK YOU to everyone who helped in any way. I owe a great deal of gratitude to those of you who donated money to my campaign ads and more, those of you who advised me, those who contributed their time, those who walked and knocked on doors / texted and made phine calls, those who let me place a sign at their house or business, those who sent me positive messages of support, to each of you who encouraged and prayed for me and our city, and especially those of you who took time to vote. I also greatly appreciate the many calls from friends that do not live in the city limits who expressed their support.

A special thank you to my wife and family, my biggest supporters! Overall we had a very short window of time, so I was not able to call every resident or knock on every door, but I enjoyed meeting and getting to know so many of you throuout this process.

i have lived in Corsicana for 20 years. I am deeeply invested in the community and I will work with everyone to ensure that Corsicana is a great place to live, work, and raise a family. Yes, there are a lot of concerns that need to be addressed, but we also know many positive things happening in our city. Many improvements have taken place since we moved to Corsicana in 2003, but there is still much that can be done to make Corsicana even better. I look forward to working with all of you to make that happen! "

ATTRACT -- Corsicana should be the best community to open a business. We need to continue creating the most business friendly environment in Texas with low taxes, more streamlined processes, and great city services.
PROMOTE -- Our unique history, attractions, and amnesties are what make Corsicana an amazing community. Corsicana should be the best place to raise a family and invest in a career.
INVEST -- Our public infrastructure needs immediate attention, as well as a long-term plan. We need to fill vacancies, retain great employees, and provide the right tools to get the job done.

It takes people to hold free elections. If you are interested in becoming an Election Judge or Election Clerk, as we prepare for 2024, please contact RPNC Chairman Steve Jessup at [email protected]. Navarro County has conservative values. We need to be represented at the Vote Center polling places, because twe know the other side will have their people in place. .
