Friend,

Today is February 4, 2020.

The primary is now in full swing, but we don’t have any time to waste to fight the climate crisis. The California Primary is only 28 days away! This week, many of us will receive our vote by mail ballots. We can collectively make this year a turning point in our fight to protect our environment, and build a more equitable, healthy California.

That is why your vote is as important as ever. Over the next 28 days, there are many ways you can help us protect California’s environment and demonstrate global leadership against the climate crisis.

First, vote for the environment. From Assembly to State Senate to Congress, make your selection the environmental choice! As a CLCV member, you get a first-hand look into the candidates CLCV has thoroughly vetted and endorsed because they will fight for our environment and our future. To see the candidates CLCV has endorsed for this primary, please CLICK HERE.

Big Oil is spending more than ever to buy seats in the legislature because they know their time is short. They are doing everything they can to impede our fight to transition from dirty fossil fuels to the prosperous, clean, zero-emission economy California is becoming. Don’t let Big Oil succeed in buying these seats. Stop them by voting for our climate crisis fighting candidates!

Second, volunteer to get out the vote for CLCV’s endorsed candidates. CLCV will be supporting our endorsed candidates by volunteering to knock on doors in their districts. To sign up to volunteer, contact our Campaign & Organizing Manager Matt Abularach-Macias at [email protected].

Last but not least, we can only take on Big Oil’s dark money and continue our fight against the climate crisis with YOUR support. Please help us elect environmental champions by supporting CLCV TODAY!

Together, we can change what is possible and build the political power to ensure a better future for all Californians. Please, remember to vote by March 3rd and vote the environment!

In solidarity,

We believe that radical change is necessary and only by transforming our political system will we create the opportunity to take bold action on climate change. We elect and cultivate environmental champions, turn election victories into policy wins, hold our lawmakers accountable, and build political power for change. We inspire hope and action and fight for equity and justice for all Californians. We are in the business of changing what’s possible. You can unsubscribe from this mailing list at any time.
