As we approach the one-year anniversary of the shooting at Tops Market in Buffalo, where 10 people were murdered simply because they were Black, hate-motivated shootings show no signs of stopping. A shooting at an outlet mall in Allen, Texas—eight killed, 10 injured—is just the latest to join an increasingly long list of deadly hate crimes with a gun.
