Great to see so many familiar faces that call Orange home.

Originally marking the Valencia orange packing season and harvest, this revived community tradition has become a way to bring together residents, organizations, and small businesses that call the City of Orange California - Municipal Government home.

This week I voted to support H.R. 2, which takes concrete steps to secure our border, equip our border patrol with the resources they need on the front lines, increase support for law enforcement to states along the U.S.-Mexico border, reduce the number of illegal crossings, and allow for legal immigration.

As long as this crisis persists, our communities suffer. I will keep working in good faith on a border security and immigration solution.

As co-chair of the Maternity Care Caucus, I’m committed to finding ways to improve and expand quality care for moms and moms-to-be.

I wrote to Health Resources and Services Administration with co-chair Robin Kelly for answers on the National Maternal Mental Health Hotline’s effectiveness.

I came to Congress to break through the partisan gridlock, bring common sense to Washington and get things done.

I am proud that my record was ranked among the most effective members of Congress according to recent data by the Center for Effective Lawmaking.

This week, we marked Vietnam Human Rights Day, I stand with our Vietnamese American communities and those who continue to be oppressed.

As Chairwoman of the House Indo-Pacific Subcommittee, I am working to support freedom-loving people trapped under the rule of authoritarian regimes.

Thank you to all the nurses in CA-40 and nationwide for all your hard work and keeping our communities healthy.

I caught up with students at Let's Hack OC, a free program by Anduril for all high schoolers to learn coding, develop their skills, and create apps or other STEM projects.

This was Orange County's first post-pandemic hackathon and I look forward to seeing the program grow!

California has seen firsthand how partisan economic policies can lead to failures of two of its biggest banks.

At this week’s Financial Institutions and Monetary Policy Subcommittee hearing, I asked how we could have prevented these failures and can help small and mid-size financial institutions, which provide much needed capital for our small businesses.

As a wife and sister of U.S. Army veterans, supporting those who have served in our nation’s uniform is deeply personal to me. I will always fight to make sure our veterans get the services that they deserve.

The VA should be focused on providing quality care to our veterans, not misleading veterans and the American public for political purposes. I will keep working to hold the VA accountable and ensure promises are kept to our veterans who fought to protect our freedoms.

We are excited to see this project moving ahead and look forward to its completion in 2025. I know it will benefit our entire Orange County community!

FHFA’s absurd changes to debt-to-income ratio-based fees had the potential of hurting future homebuyers. Policies should empower Americans to achieve their American dream.

I’m glad the FHFA has reversed course on this proposal, and I will keep working on the Financial Services Committee to conduct oversight on federal agencies and expand opportunities for all Americans.
