Friends,

The March 3 Virginia Democratic Primary is just the first step in the road to the July 13-16 Democratic National Convention in Milwaukee. Frank Leone created a slideshow that explains the delegate selection process in Virginia. We modified his slideshow to provide Fairfax County caucus information as well as information for the 8th, 10th and 11th congressional district democratic committee’s conventions. Frank represents Virginia as one of our five elected members of the Democratic National Committee. We will update the slideshow and website calendar with more specific information as it becomes known.

March 4 is the deadline to apply for the Democratic National Committee's Organizing Corps 2020 5-week hands-on immersion program in 19 cities across the country. Corp Members attending the bootcamp receive a $500 travel and living stipend; the stipend for the immersion program is $3,000+.  Click HERE to refer a student for the program.

Monday, February 10 is the deadline to register to vote for the March 3 Democratic Primary. Citizens who will be 18 years old by November 3 may register now and vote in the primary. Absentee voting for the primary is in-progress from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm in Conference Room 2/3 of the Fairfax County Government Center, 12000 Government Center Parkway, Fairfax. More information below.
