The First Lady joined Secretary of Natural and Historic Resources Travis
Voyles and Richmond city leaders for the groundbreaking of the James River
Association’s James A. Buzzard Education Center. Prioritizing Virginia’s
waterways has been but one of the Governor’s top priorities, and this center
will give Virginians and those who visit better access to the James River’s
beauty, history and recreational benefits. Appreciation to the James River
Association’s leadership in improving the water quality and health of the
Chesapeake Bay and making the James River one of Virginia’s most sparkling
environmental success stories. Shout-out to Sturgeon Scoot!

Administration-backed, Safe and Sound Task Force — within 90 days, the majority
of children who were sleeping in government offices, hotels and emergency rooms
