John, I remember a time when schools wanted parents involved.
But schools across the country are doing everything in their power to keep secrets from parents and to shut them up.
If you’ve been following Shawn McBreairty’s case, you know that better than anyone.
Because even after we took the school board to court, and a judge decided that Shawn MUST be allowed at meetings, the board is still refusing to let Shawn publicly criticize teachers or the woke nonsense they’re teaching in the classroom.
That’s right – the school board is employing a completely viewpoint discriminatory policy chilling parents’ First Amendment rights.
At board meetings, you can publicly praise the school and its woke curriculum but you may not speak if you’re going to speak ill of it.
In fact, when Shawn spoke they cut his microphone and escorted him out of the building.
We cannot let schools get away with this…
…we cannot let schools CENSOR parents’ speech.
That is why we just filed a notice of appeal at the First Circuit Court of Appeals.
It’s time to stand up for parents’ free speech rights.
These left-wing activists embedded in our school systems think they know better than moms and dads.
It’s time to send the crystal-clear message that no one – not even educators – can stomp out parents’ First Amendment right to speak out at school board meetings.
The school board probably thought that we’d shrug our shoulders and move on…
…but they couldn’t have been more wrong.
We will fight with everything we have for our clients, because every case we take on is bigger than the case itself.
This is a fight for families, for parental rights, and for our education system as a whole.
We can’t afford to abandon it.
