John,
We’re almost halfway through our first FEC fundraising quarter, but our fundraising is slowing down, and we’re at risk of falling behind. So, we’re setting a goal of raising $7,500 by the 15th to stay on track to meet our goal.
In a moment, I’ll tell you why this is so important, but first, I have to ask: will you chip in $5 today?

Here are three reasons why we need to meet this goal by Monday night:
- Early fundraising is essential. My Republican opponent, Marc Molinaro, has been able to raise money all year and already reported raising over $600,000 during the first quarter. We only started raising money last month when we announced our campaign, so we have a lot of missed time to make up for.
- We’re completely grassroots. While Molinaro gladly accepts money from corporate PACs and special interests, I’m relying on grassroots contributions instead.
- Our first FEC quarterly deadline is quickly approaching. Even though it’s only been about a month since we began our campaign, we’re already nearly halfway through the FEC fundraising quarter, so we need to keep our fundraising on track ahead of this major deadline.
John, now that you know a bit more about why this is so important for our campaign, will you contribute $5 or whatever you can today?

With gratitude & high hopes,
Josh
