Team — This week, George Santos was charged with 13 counts, including wire fraud, money laundering, and lying on statements to the House of Representatives.

He is a disgrace to our democracy. But because he is vital to Kevin McCarthy and Elise Stefanik’s Republican majority, they refuse to call on him to resign.

Stefanik, in particular, is letting down hundreds of thousands of fellow New Yorkers by standing strong behind George Santos, who defrauded voters last year.
