Our nation has once again been rocked with the devastating news of another mass shooting in Texas.
Thoughts and prayers will not suffice any longer. It’s time for serious action to find a solution to the gun violence crisis that is seemingly never-ending in our country.
Enough is enough. Will you join me in demanding necessary common-sense gun reform before more innocent lives are lost?
I’ve consistently used my power to demand an assault weapon ban and other common sense and popular gun reforms, passing a series of bills through the Judiciary Committee that would save lives and protect our freedoms.
Jim Jordan and his extreme Republican allies didn’t support it then, and they are failing that moral test again. How many Americans have to die for them to do the right thing?
The time has long since passed for us to take action and Republicans are failing to protect the American people.
