John- Congress is finally taking action against the Mexican drug cartels. A new task force was just created by Speaker McCarthy. Its mission is specifically focused on neutralizing the cartels by fully investigating their activity, producing policy recommendations, educating the American public, and bringing legislation to the House floor that’s intended to crush these transnational criminal organizations. This cartel task force is exactly what we need to stop the Mexican drug cartels — and I’ve been appointed to lead it. This is the biggest mission I’ve taken on since joining Congress.
