I couldn’t believe these images when I saw them this morning.
These four close-up photographs show the remarkable sequence of an Iron Dome interceptor tracking and taking out an incoming rocket from Gaza.
This is just one of more than 300 Iron Dome interceptions over Israel’s skies since Wednesday. Each interception saving countless lives in Israel, and each a direct result of our work together.

Tonight, Israelis are spending Shabbat under continued rocket assaults from Islamic Jihad in Gaza.
More than 1,000 rockets have been launched toward Israel in the last 72 hours, including a barrage of rockets fired at Jerusalem earlier today.
Israel’s David’s Sling system – which conducted its first live missile interception earlier this week over Tel Aviv – shot down a second missile today over Gush Etzion (just south of Jerusalem).
Together, we have lobbied Congress to provide nearly $3 billion for Iron Dome and nearly $2.5 billion for David’s Sling.
These remarkable defense systems are saving lives by the minute, and it would not be possible without the United States – or AIPAC.
Tonight our hearts are with the people of Israel and the IDF soldiers working to keeping millions of Israelis safe.
