Unrelenting attacks on trans youth from Republicans

The Department of Justice sued Tennessee over an appalling ban on gender-affirming care for transgender minors. It is outrageous that Republican lawmakers are putting the lives and well-being of transgender youth at risk by denying them access to the healthcare they need.
The science is clear: denying transgender individuals access to gender-affirming care can have devastating consequences. It is unconscionable that Tennessee would pass a law that puts the health and well-being of transgender youth at risk.
Transgender youth deserve better than being denied the medical care they need to live healthy and fulfilling lives. The DOJ's lawsuit is a crucial step in protecting the rights of transgender individuals, and we hope that other GOP-led states will stop these discriminatory practices.
