Fraud is illegal and bad actors will be held accountable.
Dear Friend,
Rep. George Santos — famous for allegedly lying to his constituents — is finally being held accountable. He’s facing 13 counts, centered around alleged wire fraud, money laundering, and theft of public funds.
We aren’t surprised, and we’d like to remind Rep. Santos that no one is above the law.
George Santos allegedly improperly used campaign donations for personal expenses like luxury designer clothes and credit card payments and is even alleged to have fraudulently applied for and received unemployment benefits. Democratic Attorneys General work to hold bad actors accountable for fraud and schemes that take advantage of people. Do you agree that no one is above the law? Take our survey, friend, and let us know your thoughts.
Democratic AGs truly are “The People’s Lawyers” and DAGA is the only party committee devoted to electing more of them. Since 2016, we’ve won two-thirds of our targeted races, and we can't stop now – will you chip in today?
