FIRST, the IRS got caught targeting conservative political groups and leaking information used to support Democrat causes.
THEN, it was revealed that the IRS spent almost $70,000 buying up ammunition, adding to an already 5-million-round stockpile.
NOW, Congressional Democrats are trying to add 87,000 agents to the payroll.
But House Republicans acted quickly and rescinded the funding for those 87,000 new agents, saving the American people millions of dollars and defending them from an influx of audits and harassment aimed at the middle class.
House Republicans are united in our efforts to hold the IRS accountable and prevent them from becoming weaponized against the American people, But, John, we can’t do it alone!
