FIRST: Radical right-wingers abused the good ol’ boy system of the federal
courts in an attempt to BAN medication abortion nationwide.

They sued to overturn FDA approval of the abortion pill mifepristone — and
they specifically chose to put their case before an activist,
anti-abortion judge appointed by Donald Trump. As expected, he ruled
AGAINST mifepristone.

THEN: The Supreme Court PROTECTED mifepristone — for now…

They ruled to keep mifepristone legal and accessible while the case makes
its way through the appeals process.

NOW: In just a few days, the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals will hear oral
arguments over mifepristone in the next step of the case.

But once again, the court system is rigged against us. Thanks to Donald
Trump’s judicial appointments, the 5th Circuit is known as one of the most
extreme right-wing courts in America.

NEXT: We have to prepare for the fights ahead.

No matter what happens at the 5th Circuit, the mifepristone case is likely
to head back to the Supreme Court. And we know we can’t trust SCOTUS.
