Biden Under Fire from the Anti-Establishment Left and Center as R.F.K and Joe Lieberman Mount Their Attacks
By Bill Wilson
Joe Biden is under fire from all sides, with nearly two-thirds of Democrats saying they think the party should nominate someone else, and critics elevating anti-establishment challengers like Robert F. Kennedy Jr as well as mounting attacks with third-party candidates.
Kennedy’s choice to challenge Biden for the Democratic nomination for president has wide implications for the Democratic primaries, as well as for former President Trump’s chances of splitting the Democratic vote in the general. However, the fact that Kennedy, an avid critic of big government covid mandates, corporatism, and Anthony Fauci is rapidly rising in the polls proves anti-establishment sentiment is on the rise on the left as well as the right.
Under the Biden Administration’s draconian leadership, Fauci and Democratic legislators had the American people and the economy as a whole in a stranglehold during the pandemic, and a growing share of the left is critical of harsh mandates and lockdowns and views them as a gross misuse of power.
Mass economic shutdowns caused millions of Americans to suffer job loss and reduced employment, and vaccine mandates all but removed the concept of personal choice and privacy from medicine. Draconian government mandates and highly politicized narratives did little to ingratiate the CDC and globalist organizations like the World Health Organization to a broad swathe of the public.
There is no doubt the optics of the pandemic were terrible from a public policy standpoint, and many Americans no longer trust the establishment in the wake of the way the pandemic was handled, which is one reason R.F.K and other alt-left candidates are amassing enough support to worry the Democratic Party elite.
This comes on top of news that former Sen. Joe Lieberman, the Connecticut Democrat turned Independent who is a self proclaimed centrist, recently announced he’s actively engaged in the process of finding a third-party candidate to challenge and defeat Biden. Lieberman was vocal about supporting Biden in 2020 but believes Biden has governed too far to the left and is seeking a third-party candidate with the hope of unseating Biden. Lieberman stated that “centrists and moderates feel that [Biden has] governed more from the left than they hoped. He hasn’t been able to be the unifier that he promised to be.”
Meanwhile, alternative candidates like Marianne Williamson and R.F.K are gaining traction in recent polls, despite being discredited as long-shots by the mainstream media who continue to prop up Biden.
Comparing the recent numbers to a previous poll conducted by Morning Consult just a month ago, Kennedy's support has doubled from 10% to 21% per Emerson, while Williamson's has also increased from 4% to 9%. These findings indicate a substantial surge in support for alternative candidates who are willing to challenge the status quo.
Kennedy's popularity is particularly strong among women, voters over the age of 65, and non-college educated Democrats. On the other hand, Williamson performs well with women, younger voters, and college-educated Democrats.
A recent Morning Consult poll reveals that 13% of women, compared to 7% of men, would back Kennedy as a primary challenger. Among voters over the age of 65, 17% express support for Kennedy, while younger age groups hover around 9%. Similarly, 12% of non-college Democrats support Kennedy, compared to 10% of college graduates. These findings suggest that Kennedy holds an advantage among the working-class and older voters.
Over the same time period, Biden's approval rating has declined substantially, particularly among Democratic women. While 78% of men say they’d support Biden in the primaries, only 61% of women share the same sentiment, representing a nearly twenty-percentage point difference.
When Democratic leaners were asked if the party should nominate Biden again or opt for someone else, a notable 58% favored choosing another candidate. These numbers were even higher among younger individuals and Independents who lean Democrat. Among young Democrat leaners, a striking 76% preferred another nominee, while 64% of non-white Democrat leaners expressed the same viewpoint.
There is a widespread consensus among the public that President Biden is unfit for his job, and concerns regarding his health and age extend to the next six years. Democrats, Democratic-leaning individuals, and swing voters, including young people, women, and Independents, are increasingly of the opinion that the Democratic Party should nominate someone other than Biden for the 2024 election.
The surge in support for anti-establishment candidates like R.F.K and challengers from the center as well indicate a fracturing as the left begins to eat its own. Leftists who challenge the status quo and find fault with the Biden Administration’s handling of issues like the pandemic, the Ukraine war, and health policy are finding alternatives like R.F.K more appealing, while the Party Elite remains beholden to their globalist handlers. The party labels are becoming increasingly meaningless, and there are more opportunities for alternative candidates to make their arguments against the status quo, as the American people are hungry for change.

Almost 6 million illegal border crossings since Biden took office, about 3 million were let go or got away
By Robert Romano
Since President Joe Biden took office in Jan. 2021, there have been more than 5.9 million illegal border crossings, according to the latest data by the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol from fiscal years 2023, 2022 and 2021.
Of those, more than 2.9 million were deemed Title 42 Covid restriction or Title 8 inadmissibles or removals. The other 3 million were apparently let into the country.
In the meantime, for fiscal years 2023, 2022, and 2021 Immigration Customs and Enforcement has booked in 615,000 illegal immigrants, 25,900 are currently detained as of April, and through the process, 178,400 were removed, 476,400 were released and an additional 711,800 were given so-called alternatives to detention (ATD), the implication being some wind up in ATD without having ever been booked in the first place. The numbers literally don’t add up.
Of those released, 38,700 were bonded, 242,000 were released with an order of recognizance, 19,900 were released with an order of supervision and 158,400 were paroled.
Compared to former President Donald Trump’s administration, removals are down dramatically. At 72,000 in FY 2022, removals by ICE were down a whopping 61 percent compared to FY 2020, when 185,000 were removed.
In addition, today the Border Patrol has another 28,000 illegal immigrants in detention, an all-time record beyond its stated capacity per federal officials, according to Reuters’ Liliana Salgado and Ted Hesson.
Of the 3 million recent arrivals who were allowed to stay, unfortunately, many of them could wind up being indentured slaves and victims of human trafficking who paid the Mexican drug cartels to get into the U.S. Once here, they are obliged to keep paying protection money.
And then there’s the got-aways. In the just the past three months, although 631,000 illegal immigrants were apprehended, another 212,000 were classified unofficially as got-aways. According Breitbart.com’s Bob Price and Randy Clark, “Unofficial numbers obtained from Border Patrol officials indicate a total of 844,000 known border crossers during the first three months of FY23. The number represents the reported apprehension of 631,000 migrants and an additional 212,000 migrants classified as known got-aways.”
And then in Jan. and Feb. 2023, per Price and Clark, “The number of migrants known to have entered the United States illegally without being apprehended jumped in February, according to a Border Patrol report reviewed by Breitbart Texas. Got-aways jumped from about 48,000 in January to nearly 51,000 in February.”
That’s 311,000 so-called “got-aways” in just the past six months, according to unofficial numbers.
But it’s likely more than that, as Price and Clark explained, “Gotaways are an estimate by Border Patrol officials of migrants that are either seen and not apprehended or are counted by other means including technology and tracking. These are migrants who illegally cross the border with no intention of surrendering to law enforcement to claim asylum, officials previously told Breitbart.”
More or less, for every two illegal immigrants captured, another one gets away, including those tracked via technology or visually and then lost track.
Sadly, many of them are sex slaves. In the year 2000, the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) estimated as many as 50,000 women and children are smuggled to the U.S. every year to serve as prostitutes and forced laborers in violation of the 13th Amendment’s prohibition of slavery and indentured servitude.
After more than 20 years, that would mean there are more than 1 million slaves in the U.S. and likely, given the numbers we are seeing presently at the border, there are many, many more than that.
And the Biden administration is just letting it happen and by opening the border, accommodating an abhorrent crime against humanity.
According to a report by the Organization of American States on human trafficking, the conditions of these slaves are atrocious: “The victims, mostly women and children, are often deceived about the true nature of the work. They are exploited in slavery-like conditions. The traffickers grow rich, but the victims are held in debt bondage… Some are abducted and sold, some are deceived into consenting by the promise of a better life or a better job, and some feel that entrusting themselves to traffickers is the only economically viable option. Regardless of the route of entry, most women and children trafficked for sexual exploitation suffer extreme violations of their human rights, including the right to liberty, the right to dignity and security of person, the right not to be held in slavery or involuntary servitude, the right to be free from cruel and inhumane treatment, the right to be free from violence, and the right to health.”
The report continued: “Why can’t they just leave? Some trafficking victims are physically imprisoned by locks, bars or guards. Those with apparent freedom to leave are controlled by other means. Physical, sexual and psychological violence are employed against them effectively.”
Former President Trump dealt with the border with Mexico through a combination of threatened massive tariffs if they would not deploy their military to secure their side of the border, which Mexico acquiesced to deploying the military. The Migrant Protocols and the Remain in Mexico policy were adopted by both countries, and encounters and apprehensions dropped substantially.
Now, Remain in Mexico is history and Biden’s catch and release is setting all-time records, and with the Title 42 Covid restrictions also in the rear view mirror with the pandemic national emergency ended, the situation will likely only get worse.
