[link removed] [[link removed]] ICYMI, the Democracy for the People Act was signed into law, and it's a really, really big deal.
This act will provide automatic voter registration, allow 16- and 17-year-old citizens to pre-register to vote, add more transparency to campaign finance rules, penalize intimidation of voters, and make it a crime to interfere with someone who is trying to register to vote or cast a ballot.
Steve was on Minnesota Public Radio (MPR) to talk about this historic legislation. He spoke about how the Democracy for the People Act will make it easier for Minnesotans to vote and ensure that everyone's voice is heard. If you missed it, you can listen to it here. [[link removed]]
