John, it's been more than a year since we first learned that the Supreme Court was preparing to overturn Roe v. Wade and destroy reproductive freedoms across the country.

Since then, we've witnessed a nearly endless wave of abortion bans and an all out assault on reproductive care across the country. Today, millions of Americans are long hours – if not days – away from the nearest abortion provider. This situation is already incredibly dangerous.

But now, these right-wing extremists have launched a new attack on reproductive rights. They're scheming to ban access to the most commonly used abortion pill – and these restrictions would apply in all 50 states.

That's why I joined more than 250 of my Democratic colleagues in Congress to call on the Supreme Court to block these dangerous restrictions. And thankfully, the Court has issued a temporary pause. But with a final decision still looming, we cannot become complacent for even a single moment.

This fight has made it all the more clear just how urgent it is for Democrats to defend our Senate majority so that we can finally pass legislation that will protect reproductive rights – once and for all.

But with Democrats defending 23 seats – compared to the GOP's 11 – the odds are stacked against us. Experts are already warning that our majority could be doomed. The only way to turn things around is with a huge surge in grassroots support, especially in these early days. So please, John, will you rush $5 or more before midnight tonight to jump-start our Senate defense efforts so that we can restore reproductive rights to every American?
