half years later, we’re now $31 trillion in debt. WHY?

counterparts have become the norm, instead of passing commonsense
budgets that benefit the people.

We haven’t passed a budget since
I’ve been in the Senate, and that is in large part due to Joe Biden’s

Speaker McCarthy who has recently passed legislation in the House that
would begin to tackle the Democrats’ inflated government spending – for
that, I am encouraged.

Simultaneously, President Biden and his
entourage of elitists in D.C. are acting like five-year-olds when asked
to come to the table to discuss the looming debt ceiling crisis.
We’re in this mess because Washington, D.C. has been kicking the can of
our kids’ and grandkids’ future down the road, and over the cliff for
decades.

This is precisely why I’m fighting so hard for my fellow
Hoosiers, as I hope to bring sanity and responsibility back to Indiana
as Governor.
