Meet and take a walk with new Village President Ryan Kauffman at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 20 at Prairie Point Park to work on your fitness. A nationwide program, Move with the Mayor [ [link removed] ] works with elected officials to help improve residents? health and raise awareness about the benefits of physical activity.

To help recognize National Drinking Water Week, Oswego has released its 2022 Annual Water Quality Report. The Village?s water system received an exceptional rating after the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency conducted an evaluation in 2022.

Grab your cowboy boots and kick-start your Memorial Day weekend with Country Bash-Oswego Honors Veterans [ [link removed] ] on Saturday, May 27 from 2:30 to 10 p.m. at Venue 1012. Headliner Whiskeyfist will perform the hottest country hits along with Southern and classic rock favorites. Grab a cold beer or glass of wine (available onsite) and start the evening with the Alika Arlynn Band and Tim Gleason Band. Residents are welcome to participate in the Oswego Community Yard Sale on Friday, June 2 and June 3. If you'd like to host a sale on either or both days, register by 5 p.m. on May 22. The Village helps promote the sale by placing a print ad in the?"Oswego Ledger"?with lists of neighborhoods and addresses.
