Tuesday, Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA) spoke at Punchbowl News' "Women Challenging
Washington" event. We love this message she shared: "When you walk into a room,
own that room, ladies!"

Also Tuesday, Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (NY-11) led a group of bipartisan
members on a tour of the Staten Island Port, located in her district.

Wednesday, Rep. Monica De La Cruz (TX-15) spoke at a House GOP press
conference about a border security bill. Monica's district shares a border with
Mexico.
In the weeks leading up to the expiration of Title 42, the number of migrants
illegally crossing the border has been increasing, flooding South Texas
communities like Monica's and raising significant national security and
humanitarian concerns.

Thursday, the Biden administration allowed Title 42 to officially expire. GOP
women weighed in on the dangerous decision.

Also Thursday, the House GOP passed what Speaker McCarthy has called "the
strongest border security bill this country has ever seen."
The bill:
* Ends catch and release
* Restarts construction of the border wall
* Increases the number of Border Patrol agents
* Protects unaccompanied children from human trafficking
