Hello, Welcome to the Bacon Brief! As you know, our district boundaries changed this year, and the 2nd District now includes all of Douglas and Saunders County, and the western part of Sarpy County. I like to send a newsletter to my constituents 1-2 times a month to let them know what we are working on in DC and what is going on in the district. | Meetings with constituents | In addition to voting on legislation, attending committee meetings, and meeting with other government officials, I regularly meet with constituents and organizations who have an interest in issues affecting the 2nd District of Nebraska. His open-border policy predictably led to a national security and humanitarian crisis at America’s borders that continues to this day.
