On Wednesday, the Ohio House voted to create a special election this August in Ohio. This resolution would make it much more difficult for Ohioans to pass important ballot initiatives, such as those that would raise the minimum wage, expand access to healthcare, or protect reproductive rights!
I am inspired by the outpouring of support that we have seen from Ohioans across the state. Hundreds of people came to the State House to protest. Thousands of people have contacted their legislators, signed petitions, and attended rallies to oppose SJR2. I know that if we continue to work together, we can defeat this resolution in the August special election. |
