Wellness Retreats In light of Mental Health Awareness Month and Teacher Appreciation week, Nellie Mae and HealHaus @ School have collaborated to launch Collective Care for Educators: Wellness Retreats to Recharge and Reset. Our goal is to provide deserving public school educators with a one or two-day healing and mental wellness retreat in New York City or the Berkshires. We recognize educators deserve healing and rest, especially in the wake of a COVID-19 pandemic that required many in our community to provide increased levels of support for their students in ways no one could have prepared for particularly educators of color – while being surrounded by so much uncertainty and high-profile cases of anti-blackness. With that in mind, we welcome you to nominate deserving New England public school educators who would benefit from joining us in a healing space for an opportunity to practice the three Rs – Relax, Relate, and Reset in a supportive environment with their peers and colleagues.
