Yesterday, Mitch McConnell's GOP Senate acquitted Donald Trump of impeachment charges, after blocking witness testimony and refusing to examine the additional facts that have come to light.

But there is one tragic fact that we know all too well: Trump has now been given free rein to abuse his power further and to continue to attack our democracy. It’s on us to stop him.
