A date for your diary: Nottingham City Council and the Showmen’s Guild have announced that Goose Fair will once again be held over ten days in 2023, between Friday 29 September and Sunday 8 October.
The decision follows the successful staging of the fair over ten days in 2022, which saw over half a million visitors come to the event from across the region.
With over 250 rides and attractions and thrills aplenty for all ages, it's one of the largest travelling fun fairs in Europe.

Storyville, the BBC’s landmark international feature documentary strand, is hosting a series of films at the Eurovision cultural festival this month.
As Nottingham is an official BBC Eurovision broadcast partner, three of these films will be screened at Broadway Cinema today from 4pm. The films tell stories from Ukraine, from its rich cultural heritage to the frontline of the conflict with Russia.
Tickets are free but booking is required.

In early 2022, the small Ukrainian town of Bucha near the capital, Kyiv, was occupied by the Russian army for several weeks. After a month of intense fighting, the Russian army withdrew, leaving the town destroyed in its wake.
In "When Spring Came To Bucha", citizens share their stories as they clean their streets of debris and re-build their shattered homes.Â
