Yesterday, Republicans in the state legislature passed SJR2. It is a shameful act that blatantly undermines the integrity of our democratic process.

The law they passed is undemocratic, unfair, and unnecessary. It was pushed by an out-of-state billionaire and it has no place in Ohio. And make no mistake, this is a dark day for democracy. But the battle has only just begun.

Now until August 8th, we will be working to protect our Constitution, protect our sacred right of ‘one person, one vote’, and protect the people’s freedom to decide what happens in Ohio.

The bottom line is we have to keep fighting -- and to do that, we need your help.
